Unlikely what most people think the condom is not a modern invention. The notion of getting protected against sexually transmissible diseases and undesired pregnancy goes back in history of the humankind at least 15 centuries ago.

The act of masturbation was viewed under so many different prospects by the ancient cultures. It is a natural habit that has been practiced by the human society since time immemorial.

For us it's highly interesting the twists and turns of Roman sexuality to learn further about such different vision of the world and society in comparison with our modern concepts.

The Perfumed Garden is another book that together with the Kama Sutra and the Ananga Ranga may translate the thoughts and ideas of the people from Arabia and North Africa on the human sexuality and relationships, which had (partly thanks to such books) a major impact on our today's society values.

The Ananga Ranga is an Indian book on the human sexuality that is frequently confounded with the Kama Sutra (with even some authors referring to the Ananga Ranga as a part of the Kama Sutra, a mistake that is very common on online "versions" of both books containing sex positions). Such mistake probably happens due to the fact that both books are written on the same language and deals with similar subjects (both also including depictions of sex positions). Another similarity between both books is that linguist and explorer Sir Richard Burton, being the Kama Sutra published in 1883 and the Ananga Ranga two years later, published both English translations from the originals in Sanskrit.

Pornography may be classified as, study of prostitution, collection of obscene pictures or paintings, characteristic of what transgress prudish, obscenity, indecency, permissively; anything done in pornographic fabrics, regarding sex as something dirty, as a catch.

In India, similarly to China, birth control and population exponential growth seemingly of concern for the country. As India reached 1 billion inhabitants (one sixth of the entire world population) in the year 2000. And yet, even with current birth control measures, experts expect this figure to double up by the year 2040. It is difficult to control such steadfast rate of growth upon poverty, religious and cultural spheres as well as misinformation when taking a toll. Birth control methods are not so straightforward for people to decide by the drop of a hat when they are about to engage in sex games, and then some to the turn. Especially concerning a nation whose roughly 50% of the entire population admittedly use some birth control method.
